The Kind Exchange: We’re getting new merchandise in every day, and this is only the beginning. Here, we’re happy to introduce you to a couple of our designers.

The story: What began as a senior thesis collaboration between then Parson students Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernadez, soon turned into the fashion cult line Proenza Schouler. Named after their mothers’ maiden names, their entire first collection was picked up by Barney’s New York in 2002. Next, they won the Vogue Fashion Fund award in 2004, and the CFDA Womenswear Designer of the Year award in 2007. Known for its too cool wearable luxury clothing, shoes and accessories, the waitlists for their classic leather satchel PS1 bags continues to take names.

The vest: The wait for Proenza Schouler wear is over at The Kind Exchange. Come in now to check out pieces like this must-have vest. Part patterned knit, buttoned and tied with a bow, this vest is all true Proenza style.
